We at New Hope seek to be a welcoming community regardless of beliefs, cultures and other differences that separate us, and to provide a safe place for seekers and the disillusioned. All are welcome to our Sunday worship, Sunday child and adult Faith Formation classes, Adult Tuesday Night Book Study, and other events as announced.

Our Lenten Season Opportunities offer:
a Daily Devotional, “Draw Near,” available in the church narthex;
Adult Faith Formation Class: “Draw Near: Exploring Spiritual Practices” on Sundays at 9:30 AM from February 22
through March 29;
a “Quiet Space Retreat” on Saturday, March 28 from 10 AM to Noon at the church;
and the following worship services during Lent:
Palm Sunday Service, March 19 at 11 AM;
Maundy Thursday Service on April 2 at 7 PM;
Good Friday Service on April 3 at 7 PM;
and Easter Sunday Service on April 5 at 11 AM.

Children’s Faith Formation Opportunities in Spring 2015, Sundays 11:00 AM
This year’s theme of “connections” emphasizes being connected to God and each other through Bible study, art, music and service. The children will attend worship and then go to their class after the Passing of the Peace.

Adult Tuesday Night Book Study, April 14 – May 19: “Ishmael’s Oranges,” novel by Claire Hajaj who is the daughter of a Palestinian father and Jewish mother. The novel follows her parents’ story of the prejudices and conflicts between friends and families from different cultures.
